The budget sessions of Balochistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be held at their respective assemblies on Thursday.

The Balochistan Budget for the next financial year will be presented in the provincial assembly in Quetta tomorrow at 6 p.m.

A meeting of the parliamentary leaders in Balochistan Assembly reviewed the proposed budget for 2013-14 in Quetta on Wednesday and gave a final shape to the proposals.
Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik presided over the meeting.

In the budget, Rs. 23 billion have been proposed for education, Rs. 15 billion for law and order while Rs. 11 billion will be earmarked for health.

Provincial government-employees’ salaries are likely to be raised by 10 percent in the budget.
