Bomb Blast in Peshawar, 9 Injures

PESHAWAR: Atleast nine army personnel were injured in a remote-controlled bomb exploded in Peshawar’s Hayatabad area near an under construction bridge on Wednesday.

Police said that the explosion occurred at Hayatabad phase-III Chowk, and a security forces vehicle was targeted.

Three kilograms of explosives were used in the bomb placed on the roadside, police added.

The injured were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex and all are in stable condition.
