Commissioner Karachi orders disposal of infected Australian sheep

Commissioner Karachi has ordered to dispose of all the sheep imported from Australia after tests results of proved that the meat is dangerous for human consumption.

The sheep are infected with contagious bacteria and scabby mouth diseases.

According to details, the Bahrain government refused to receive 21,000 Australian sheep, however, due to a dangerous infection, the Bahrain authorities refused to receive it. Later, the sheep were taken to Pakistan where after laboratory tests; it was proved that meat of these sheep is not fit for human consumption. They also tested positive for 44 per cent E. Coli. Karachi administration decided to dispose of the sheep and the process would be completed within three days.
