ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Eid-ul-Fitr is most likely to be celebrated tomorrow (Tuesday) across Pakistan with religious zeal and fervour while Eid that marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan is being celebrated today in several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas as well as in Saudi Arabia and neighbouring states.
A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held in Karachi on Monday evening with Chairman Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman in the chair for the sighting of Shawwal (1435 Hijri) crescent.
The zonal committees will also hold their meetings at their respective locations.
Today, besides several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federally administrated tribal areas (FATA), Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan and other Middle Eastern countries.
Similarly, Muslims in many western countries including the United States and United Kingdom are also celebrating Eid.
