Pakistan People’s Party’s lawmaker Jamshed Dasti on Sunday said he would contest elections against Hina Rabbani Khar “come what may”.
He also said that he was available for the post of the prime minister, in case PM Raja Pervez Ashraf was also disqualified by the Supreme Court.
Addressing a press conference at Multan Press club Sunday, Jamshed Dasti said he would fight against feudal system by contesting election against Hina Rabbani Khar. He was optimistic about historic defeat to Khar in the election.
Dasti criticized PML-N, saying it is playing politics of revenge instead of performing its due role for the betterment of people.
He further said Nawaz league is using delaying tactics in the creation of new provinces, adding PML-N has not submitted list of members for National Commission on South Punjab and Bahawalpur province to National Assembly Secretariat despite the passage of 25 days.
