KARACHI (Nov 24, 2013): In a bid to court public support against NATO supplies going through Pakistan for the US-led forces based in Afghanistan in the wake of US missile strikes inside the country, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf joined hands to jointly demonstrate strength in Karachi today.
Prominent leaders of both parties revealed the decision during a joint press conference in Karachi on Thursday (today). Loudspeakers have been put in place through the rally’s route on MA Jinnah Road; while, the reception camps also have been set up through the night.
The public gathering will be organized on November 24 while the route has been finalized from Quaid-e-Azam tomb to Tibet Centre.
It should be mentioned here that rally has been publicized in the city through combined banners of PTI and JI.
