Lord’s Test: Pakistan beat England by 75 runs

Pakistan defeated England by 75 runs in the first Test match of the four-match series that was played at Lord’s on Sunday.

Pakistan captain, Misbah-ul-Haq, elected to bat first, after winning a golden toss. Pakistan posted a total of 339 runs in the 1st innings.
Misbah remained the top-scorer with 114 runs whereas Chris Woakes took 6 wickets for England.
England in reply, were bowled out for a total of 272 runs on the third day of the game in the first innings.

England captain Alastair Cook was the top scorer for his side with an individual score of 81 runs. Yasir Shah take 6 wickets.

Pakistan, after having a lead of 67 runs, were able to make another 215 runs hence giving England a total of 283 runs to win the match.

England were bowled out for a total of 207 in the second innings of the match. Jonny Bairstow was the top-scorer for England with a score of 48 runs. Yasir Shah was yet again the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan with a total of 4 wickets in the second innings.
Rahat Ali picked 3 wickets. Mohammad Amir bowled out 2 players. Pakistan won the match with a total of 75 runs.
Yasir took 10 wickets in the match.
