LAHORE: The controversial Lollywood’s baby-doll actress Pakistani actress Meera, who has lately revealed her one year long relationship with cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, has said that she is set to tie the knot with a Pakistani-born American citizen Naveed Shehzad, reports said.
Meera’s residence was beautifully decorated on Sunday where mother and father of her would-be-hubby, a pilot associated with a private US company, came to her house to decide about her formal engagement ceremony and finalise marriage details.
Meera said I am very satisfied with this relationship.
However, Meera declined his engagement while speaking with media, just saying that she was excited and satisfied over getting the wedding offer. But arrival of visitors at her decorated home-sweet-home increased the perception that a formal engagement ceremony was probably being held there.
An alleged affair of Meera, best known for her bold scene in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Nazar’, came into focus few days when media quoted her as saying that “Shoaib Aktar and I had an intimate relationship at one point of time which ended in the year 2010” Shoaib refused the claim.
According to the IBNLive.com quoted “Meera has lashed out on Shoaib Akhtar for his misbehaves.”
However Shoaib has denied any such rumours and said that he was never dating with Meera, IBNLive.com reported.
Meera had become the target of certain sections of Pakistani society after giving a kissing scene in ‘Nazar’.
