OGRA increase CNG price up by 1.06 rupee per Kg

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased price of the CNG by Re. 1.06 per kilogram today.

According to an OGRA notification issued this day, price of the CNG has been increased by Re. 1.06 per kg for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Potohar regions and 0.55 paisa per kg for Sindh and Punjab regions.

New price of CNG for Region-1 has been fixed at Rs. 75.35 per kg and Rs. 70.15 per kg for Region-2; the Petroleum Ministry has imposed Infrastructure Development Surcharge Tax and transferred GST on the consumers.

The owners of CNG stations have rejected this new surcharge on the GST as the consumers are already paying 25 percent GST in CNG price.

The OGRA has issued notice for an immediate implementation of this new increase in CNG price.
