Pakistani hackers deface Israeli Webpages over Gaza Strike

As retaliation against the recent attack on Gaza, hackers from Pakistan vandalized multiple pages of high-profile sites in Israel including BBC, Coca Cola and Intel, mocking finance minister’s claims of country’s effective security.

According to the report, the websites include all Microsoft controlled domains of Israel including Skype, Bing, Live, MSN and more.

Some of the sites,  like MSN for instance, have their Israeli websites hosted on their own ‘.com’ domain – meaning that the hack won’t do much harm, however for others that’s not the case.

Following is the list of the hacked websites:

This apparently has no connections with Anonymous, albeit the hackers seem to have the same motive.

The hackers also mock a statement made by Israeli Finance Minister Yuval Steinits who said in a recent press meet said, “44 million hacking attempts have been made on Israeli government Web sites since Wednesday and that so far only one was taken down, but was up and running after 10 minutes of downtime.”

“The ministry’s computer division will continue to block the millions of cyber attacks. We are enjoying the fruits of our investment in recent years in developing computerized defence systems,” he added.
