JEDDAH : The moon for the holy month of Ramzan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia and the kingdom is going to observe fasting from Friday (July 20), Geo News reported.

In Pakistan, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Friday to sight moon for the holy month of Ramzan.
Meanwhile, the Muslims in the Pakistan will likely to begin fasting for the holy month from Saturday, July 21, 2012.
According to reports of Pakistan’s Meteorological Department the moon could be seen on this Friday.
In an interview the director of Met department, Azmat Hayat said that the weather at Coastal areas in Sindh will be clean. The moon could be seen in Larkana, Nasirabad, Gwadar, Pasni, Khuzdar and Karachi.
