The first day of Eid Al Adha is expected to be October 15 in most Islamic countries, according to a statement from the Islamic Crescents’ Observation Project.
The UAE’s Labour Ministry has announced a four-days holiday one Haj day and three Eid ul Adha days for private sector employees to celebrate Eid Festival next week.
The UAE’s Cabinet has also approved a seven-day Eid holiday for the country’s public sector.

According to a circular issued by Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education, public sector companies will remain closed for from Friday, October 11 to Saturday, October 19. They will resume work on Sunday, October 20.
