Prime Minister’s youth skill development programme starts

Federal Government has started Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program (PMYSDP) all over the country. National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has been mandated to complete this task. Under this programme, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission will train 25000 girls and boys. In addition to free admission and training, students will also get Rs2000 stipend per month.

Technical & Vocational training to 25, 000 less educated jobless male and female youth comprising particularly from the underprivileged & most neglected and remote rural areas and marginalized sections of Baluchistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir will be imparted.

350 well reputed Technical Education & Vocational training institutes, equipped with latest technology based training workshops from the Public & Private sector all over the country have been selected through Provincial Technical Education & Vocational Training Authorities (TEVTAs) and NAVTTC’s Regional Offices at Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Larkana, Quetta, Gwadar, Peshawar and Gilgit Baltistan.
