Union Council Election Result 2015 Punjab Sindh Party Wise Position

Lahore / Karachi (31st October, 2015) :: In accordance with the rules and regulations put in place by the Election Commission of Pakistan, unofficial results of those seats for which voting took place today for the first phase of Local Government Elections in Sindh and Punjab, are being shared on Capital TV in its live update section.
Meanwhile, 774 candidates have been elected unopposed in both provinces.

In Lahore Metropolitan Corporation (LMC), four UC Chairmen have been elected unopposed, while in Sindh, 707 candidates have been elected unopposed in 472 union councils, 14 municipal and 54 town committees. As the unofficial results pour in, winning candidates and their supporters across Sindh and Punjab are celebrating victories with full fervor. Furthermore, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered re-polling in 2 UCs, 17 Wards in Punjab and 2 UCs, 4 Wards in Sindh due to various complaints.

Opposition parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Jamat-e-Islami (JI) had demanded deployment of Army personnel during local body elections.
In the first phase, polling will be held tomorrow in Punjab s Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, Pakpattan, Okara, Lodhran, Vehari and Bahawalnagar districts.
In Sindh, polling will be held in Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore and Qamber districts. Result Updated 1st November 2015 ))
